We’re about a month away from the start of the season, and there is next-to-nothing to talk about. Aside from Leon Draisaitl’s contract, the two most noteworthy things to happen are that Dominic Toninato signed with Colorado, and Will Butcher still hasn’t signed with anyone. Naturally, we have to find things that entertain us in the meantime.
There’s a lot of hatred being spewed on the internet lately. In times like these, we need to remind ourselves that there is positivity and humour all around us. What better place for this than Twitter?
While much of the negativity breeds on the micro-content site, Twitter is also a great place to find memes, nuggets of wisdom, fantastic puns, and self-deprecating humour.
Now, hockey players aren’t exactly the most social media present. When compared to mega-stars Christiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant, hockey’s superstars are non-existent. Sidney Crosby doesn’t even have Facebook. Just because hockey players aren’t on the same level as the aforementioned trio though, doesn’t mean they aren’t present.
Josh Ho-Sang is a player who has struggled to find his footing on the New York Islanders, but finally broke through this season and got some regular ice time. His Twitter game, however? Absolutely fantastic, and on point for a while.
